Describe A Place You Have Been To And Would Like To Recommend Others To Live There – Sample Audio

One of the places that I would really like to go to is, and I’ve never had the chance to go to Thailand before, so that would be something that I would be so stoked about.

I’m a tropical island person. I’m someone who loves sunny, warm beaches with palm trees.

And I think it would be better to go with like a group of buddies that we could all like chill with, hang out on the beach, maybe grab some drinks together.

And I think there’s many reasons apart from just the warm weather that I’d like to go to Thailand. I really like elephants, never even like seen an elephant outside of a zoo. So that would be super cool. And I know they have a lot of like a really interesting food, snacks and things that you can try. And I think the language sounds really cool too. I’m big into languages and maybe if I could pick up some Thai, that would be like an extremely cool thing too.

So I think if I could choose one place to go to, it would be Thailand.

1. Why do people move from one place to another?

1. Why do people move from one place to another?

Well, I guess there are various reasons for people to move from one city to another place.
Firstly, maybe they just want to go to another city for like, like some, I don’t know, job changes because they cannot find their ideal job in their own city, their hometown. Maybe it’s a small town or village, I don’t know. So they can definitely move to some metropolitan cities to look for more job opportunities.
There are more multinational companies, international companies, whatever, which can offer them higher salary. So this could be one motive.

Another reason I think maybe is because of the education.
Sometimes people will go to other cities to seek higher education or tertiary education. So I’ve seen a lot of people who just even go abroad to get some training or some, you know, like education experience in other foreign countries or foreign cities, because maybe they have different perspective, they can learn some different culture, of course, language and everything. So this could be another reason.

And thirdly, maybe some people moved, it’s because of the environment.
Maybe, I don’t know, like the place they’re living has been suffering from, they have been suffering from some kind of environmental disasters. Could be, I don’t know, like smog issues, air pollution, like water pollution, whatever.
Maybe they have some chemical factories built near their village so people cannot stay it or bear it ’cause everybody will be getting the cancer, who knows?
So they have to move to another place to survive.
So this could be another reason.

2. What should people prepare before they move to a different city?

2. What should people prepare before they move to a different city?

I guess there are several things which should get ready if we want to go to another city to settle down.

First of all, maybe we should do some studies or some homework about the city, like the climate and everything so we can prepare. I don’t know, could be some clothes and everything, even the quilt. If you move from the South to the north, the temperature will be maybe lower and it will be freezing colds maybe in the winter time. So you have to prepare some dunk coats and also some quilt for you to keep yourself warm.

I don’t know, maybe and another one I think maybe is the the foods you can check on the Internet about like how the food is like. So maybe you can also get ready for that. You will not be surprised maybe by the local foods and you probably have to, you know, enjoy them for quite a long time.
So and if you cannot, maybe you can also, I don’t know, get ready for some like learn some cooking skills so you can just cook the foods you like at home so you don’t have to always eat the local foods there.

Yeah, another one, I think maybe you can also try to find out the transportation system there, like just download maybe like a map or using the E map to get familiar with the subway system if you use the subway. So maybe they have several different lines. So in the future when you go out, it can save your time. So you don’t have to always just use the GPA, so navigator or whatever. So you can just go very quickly by yourself.

3. What kinds of place do people in your country prefer to live in?

3. What kinds of place do people in your country prefer to live in?

In my country, most people prefer to live in places that are modern and convenient, such as high rise apartments in big cities or neighborhoods with easy access to transportation. These areas are usually close to supermarkets, schools and medical facilities, making daily life very convenient.
Also, modern housing designs are often very practical, with good sunproofing and spacious parking lots.

Of course, some people prefer rural living, especially those who want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature. They might choose to live in scenic areas, such as houses near mountains or lakes.

Overall, people’s choices vary depending on their needs, but comfort, convenience, and Environmental Quality are generally the common priorities, I think.

4. What are the benefits of living close to one’s workplace?

4. What are the benefits of living close to one’s workplace?

Well, the big benefits I can think of is the time saved.
Since you don’t have to commute for an hour each morning and go back each night, noon each evening, it saves you a lot of time. And this time saves can be spent doing something more worthwhile, like sleeping for an extra half hour in the morning. And when you get sufficient sleep, you are happier.

And the last benefit is this, the reduction in the possibility of getting involved in the car accident. So when you spend less time on the roads, you are less likely to get involved in the car accident, right. I remember five years ago when I was working for a company that was far away from my home, I didn’t get involved in the car accident every now and then.

And that cost me yearly, you know, not just time, but money, right?
So these are the several great benefits that I can think of when it comes to living close to your workplace.

5. What factors make a city liveable?

5. What factors make a city liveable?

Well, the first factor that makes a city livable is definitely its people.
Are people there welcoming?
Are they open minded enough to accept strangers?
Outsiders.
Will they discriminate you?
Will they treat you fairly?
Will they treat you as human beings?
I think this is the deciding factor when it comes to choosing a livable city.

The second factor is definitely related to your finance. You need to be able to support yourself financially. You need to lend a decent job to make a living, even afford housing there. This is definitely important.

The third factor is the environment. Air quality, right?
Is there enough green space?

And the last factor is convenience. Is the infrastructure there good enough?
Is the public transportation there wide enough? And we should also consider other facilities too, like public libraries, shopping malls, parks, gardens, that kind of thing.
So I think these are the four factors that make a city livable.
