1. Do you collect things?

No, I don’t collect things. I’m not so that into it, and I don’t have the habit to collect old stuff. Honestly, I’m not a well-organized person, instead, I always get things around. My mom walks into my room always says something like “your things are all over the place!”

2. Are there any things you keep from childhood?

oh, I have one. I still kept an old sweater, a woolly jumper with a snowman on it, from my grandma. I just don’t wear it for it’s too small for me.

3. Would you keep old things for a long time? Why?

I normally throw old things away because they take up too much room. For example, I prefer to clean my closet at least every two months to find some small space I can use to put new clothing or other things.
However, as for some old stuff with a special meaning, such as family photos, furniture, I would keep them and place them in a visible place.

4. Where do you usually keep things you need?

There is no particular places for my things.
Actually the exact placement depends on when I use them. For instance, I normally put my books on the bookshelves, but when I pick up one and read it before I go to bed, I would just put it on the nightstand.

1. Do you collect things?

I wouldn’t say I’m an avid collector, but I do have a penchant for collecting books. My bookshelf is a testament to my love for literature, with an eclectic mix of classic novels, contemporary fiction, and some non-fiction thrown into the mix. There’s
something about the feel and smell of books that I find incredibly appealing.

Plus, they’re a great conversation starter when people visit.

2. Are there any things you keep from childhood?

Yes, I’ve held onto a few cherished items from my childhood. One of them is a well- worn teddy bear, which was my constant companion growing up.

Another is a collection of football stickers – I was quite the enthusiast back then. These items hold a lot of sentimental value for me, serving as tangible links to my past.

3. Would you keep old things for a long time? Why?

Keeping old things can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, they can be wonderful mementos that hold precious memories and offer a sense of continuity with our past.

On the other hand, holding onto too many things can lead to clutter and may prevent us from embracing the present fully. It’s important to strike a balance, preserving those items that have genuine significance while letting go of what no longer serves us.

4. Where do you usually keep things you need?

I’m a bit of an organization enthusiast, so I have specific places for everything. Daily essentials like keys and wallets have their dedicated spot near the entrance of my home. This way, I avoid the morning scramble.

For work-related items, I have a home office setup where everything is within arm’s reach, ensuring efficiency and minimizing distractions.

1. Do you collect things?

No, now I don’t collect anything, because I am not very into any particular things. But when I was a kid, I used to collect stamps, because at that time, collecting stamps was the thing, so I was jumping on a bandwagon but later I did not find it interesting anymore

2. Are there any things you keep from childhood?

I am afraid no, keeping something from childhood is just impossible for me, because I am not very organized, so basically, I am always losing my things or just forgetting where they are, so how can you expect a man like me’to keep something from childhood?

3. Where do you usually keep things you need?

There is no particular place, I mean I just find a spot to see whether there is enough space to keep things I need. I do admit my house looks messy and disorder, but for me, it is total OK as long as I can find what I want whenever necessary.

4. What kinds of thing do people often like collecting?

I suppose all sorts, but most common ones are stamps, coins, pens and such like. But there is a very popular one among young generation – sneaker. You can always hear them talking about things like air jordan, yeezy, all shapes and sizes. they are crazy about the shoes, like the Lovers even are willing to wait outside the flagship store for up to ten hours, just hoping to get the newly released one.

5. Why do you think people collect certain objects?

It varies from person to person, some collectors do it because they want to make money, they may look for, say, antiques that they can buy cheaply and expect to sell them at a profit. Other people may do it for fun, like my friends has been collecting coins for many years, I suppose he can get a strong sense of personal fulfilment from doing so.
