Describe An Interesting Job That You Want To Have In The Future – Sample Audio

I’ve always been fascinated by therapists. I first knew the job back when I was in secondary school. At first, I wasn’t so crazy about it because there was still kind of stigma of mental health. But later when I went to uni, I got rid of a lot of the myths and misconceptions. And that was when I realized that only very few people are perfectly healthy mentally. And to some extent, everyone could use some help when it comes to navigating the ups-and-downs of life.

As for the requirements, I don’t know for sure, but I guess therapists should be good listeners to be able to empathize with others. Also, strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills are also essential in order to make workable plans to help the clients effectively.

I find the job interesting because I just think it’s such an admirable thing to do to help your clients get to know themselves better and cope with traumas. I guess it must be very fulfilling to guide the clients through the whole journey of self-discovery and see them evolve into better human beings. Not to mention how flexible the working hours are: There’s no need to stick to a rigid nine-to-five schedule. With online therapy, it’s also possible to work in the comfort of your own home.

But then again, I might be romanticizing it too much in my head, since my knowledge of the job is rather limited. And I’m sure being a therapist comes with a lot of challenges and risks: difficult clients and emotional burnout come to mind.

Nonetheless, I still think overall it’s a super interesting job that offers exciting possibilities.

1. What are the most popular jobs for young people in your country?

Right now, many young people are trying to become IT professionals because there are many job opportunities.

Besides tech companies, even ordinary companies need IT professionals to create and revise their websites and maintain existing company systems.

Lots of young people also want to work in the banking sector as financial analysts or forex traders.

I’m just not sure if it’s because young people nowadays love math or if they view bankers as rich and influential.

2. What is the difference between high-income and low-income jobs in your country?

Generally, high-income jobs in China require many years of study. So to earn a lot here, you’ve got to be studious.

High-income jobs are also very competitive since everyone wants to replace you, so there’s a lot of pressure to stay on top.

Jobs that pay lower wages typically do not require advanced academic qualifications. Instead, these jobs often require physical skills and the ability to perform the required tasks.

3. Which jobs have the highest salaries?

Now, if we’re talking about the jobs that bring in the big bucks in my country, it’s no surprise that the medical profession takes the cake.

Doctors, surgeons, and specialists— they’re up there at the top of the salary scale. I mean, they spend years studying, so it’s only fair they get compensated handsomely for saving lives and keeping us healthy.

But hey, let’s not forget about those high-flying CEOs and business moguls who rake in the dough through their strategic moves and impressive leadership skills.

And of course, the tech wizards, the engineers, and the financial gurus—they’re also bringing home some serious bacon.

It’s all about the specialized skills and the demand for expertise that determines those sky-high salaries.
