When it comes to a famous person that I like, it has to be Jennifer Lawrence, my goddess. Jennifer is a well-known American actress. I got to know her from the Hunger Games films, and her starring role as Katniss Everdeen established her as the highest-grossing action heroine of all time.
She was born in an ordinary family. Her father is a construction worker and her mother is a children’s camp manager.
Before she got famous in Hollywood, Jennifer went to school just like all girls her age. She worked hard and graduated two years early with a high score from middle school.
Besides, she also played in local theaters and at the age of 14, she finally decided to become an actress.
To be honest, I’m a die-hard fan of her and I’m fascinated by everything about her. I think she’s
charming and I was totally attracted to her with my first glance at the screen. She’s full of energy and so down-to-earth.
Although she’s famous at home and abroad, shes still humble and is always polite to people around her, including her fans. For example, she keeps saying “I really can’t thank my fans enough and I love them so much”.
What’s more, she’s the second-youngest Best Actress Oscar winner. As for me, shes the power that inspires me to be better.

The person I would like to talk about is Lining, known as gymnastic prince, who’s now the boss of a large company with tie same name of himself.
I heard this person from my colleague and his story was quite encouraging. He was a gymnast representing China for Olympic games. During his eighteen year career as an athlete, he has won numerous medals.
However, after he failed to acquire expecting achievement, he quit the sport and established a company selling sports products. Now on various newsletters.
Before he become famous, he’s also an athlete.
The reason why i am interested in him is his unique experience. He has successfully transformed from an athlete to a businessman, rather than falling into the failure of the Olympic game.
I can’t imagine how difficult it is to found a sport brand which is almost an undiscovered area during that time.
Encountering numerous difficulties, he still persist to run this company and finally make it an international sport brand.
I believe everyone will suffer from these similar obstacles when growing up, it’s plausible to learn from Lining that altering your previous way when you feel hard and being persistent when choose one.

1. Why are some kids popular at school?
The reasons for some kids being popular at school are diverse.
To start with, some may attribute their popularity to their physical appearance, while others may credit their athletic ability, sense of humor, or outgoing personality.
In addition, involvement in extracurricular activities or having a large social circle can also contribute to a child’s popularity.
Furthermore, some kids may be viewed as trendsetters or leaders among their peers, which can boost their popularity.
2. Why do some people become famous but not successful?
Numerous factors can lead to some individuals becoming famous but not successful.
In certain cases, individuals may gain fame due to their outrageous behavior or controversial actions, rather than their talent or hard work.
Alternatively, some people may experience a brief period of fame but be unable to maintain that level of success over the long term.
Moreover, certain individuals may become famous for negative reasons, such as being embroiled in scandals or negative news stories.
I think it is crucial to recognize that fame and success do not always go hand in hand.
3. What kinds of famous people are there in your country?
Living in this ‘era of mass media, well-known people are no longer limited to the traditional public figures say those who make great contribution to the society, like scientists, but regular Joes can become household names as well, thanks to the widespread of social media.
What I mean is that people can become internet influences, bloggers or reality show stars or just do live stream for just eating food.
4. What are the differences between famous people today and those in the past?
Um…well the way as I see it, in the past, those people who become public figures must be talented in certain area or make great contribution to the society like scientists, I mean they must be qualified for their fame.
By comparison, nowadays due to the availability of social media, basically everybody can get access to different channels to promote themselves, some even make a fortune for doing pothing.
For instance, Kim kardashin a household name in the US. She and her family started to shoot notorious reality show in the US keeping up with the Kardashians and it was a huge affair at that time. Ever since then she became famous for being famous, a bit of wired.
5. Do you think media is putting too much attention on famous people?
Yeah, I couldn’t agree more. There are excessive press coverage and the private lives of public figures today, especially A-list singers, stellar actors or cctresses.
Some misconducts like tax evading scandals, loving affairs, drug problems and abandoning kids are the spotlights of social media coverage.
Some media, paparazzi in particular, is way obsessed with taking pictures of those fame’s private lives, hoping their career could take off, thereby making a fortune out of this.
However, being inundated with those toxic information is quite detrimental for regular people. It’s not only a waste of time, but a distraction of their own life.
