Well, i want to share an experience that roughly happened two months ago, when I waited for a concert. It was held by Mayday, a well-known band from Taiwan.
You know this is one of my favourite band that I have loved for so many years, there’re dozens of songs that saved in my musical player that i have listened for tons of times. So watching their concert had always been the most highly anticipated thing ever on my bucket list.
Just two months ago in July, I was informed by my friend that they were going to hold their concert in my city. So without any doubt i bought the ticket and just couldn’t wait to see them.
When it comes to the day of the concert, you know it began at half past seven in the evening, but i got there two hours earlier being afraid of getting stuck in the traffic, when we got there , we found our seats and waiting for the start of the concert.
The concert lasted for about two and a half hours, the live performance surpassed all my expectations, the lead singer’s exceptional vocal range and showmanship really impressed me a lot, and also the songs brought me back to my middle school years when I first heard their songs.
For the whole process, i was on the edge of my seat, bowled over by their energy and enthusiasm. It was an amazing ad concert, and I have to say it was worth all the long wait.
Sample Answer 2
Of course, I can share a really special moment from my last year’s birthday. It was something I’d been looking forward to for about a decade. You see, my birthday always seemed to fall right when the school year started, so I was away from home for my studies. After college, I moved to Beijing for work and missed celebrating my birthday with my parents for almost ten years.
But last year was different. I became a freelancer, which meant I wasn’t tied to a specific location for work. So, I made the decision to come home in early September, which is when my birthday falls, to be with my mom and dad.
I can’t even put into words how excited and anxious I was as my birthday drew closer. I had been waiting for this moment for so long that when the day finally arrived, it felt almost unreal.
Being back home with my parents after all those years was the best gift I could have ever asked
for.
We spent the entire day together, laughing, reminiscing, and enjoying a delicious homemade cake my mom baked. It made me realize just how much I had missed celebrating with my family and how significant those moments are.
The whole experience left me with an overwhelming sense of happiness and gratitude.
It was absolutely worth the wait, and it reinforced the importance of family and treasuring those special moments.
Part 3
1. On what occasions do people have to wait for a long time?
Yeah, there are so many times when we end up waiting forever, you know? Like at airports, especially when flights are delayed, or when you’re stuck in those super long security lines.
Hospitals can also be a place where you spend a lot of time waiting, whether it’s for emergencies or regular check-ups. And oh boy, waiting in line for big events or concerts can really test your patience,
2. What do people do while waiting?
So, when folks are waiting, they find all sorts of ways to pass the time. Some whip out their phones to check emails or scroll through social media, while others might have a book with them or listen to some tunes.
And then there are those who start chatting with random people, people-watch, or just let their thoughts wander.
3. Are most people patient while waiting?
You know, not everybody has the patience of a saint when they have to wait. Some people can keep their cool, but others can get kinda fidgety, especially if the wait seems never-ending or they’re in a hurry. It really varies from person to person.
4. Do you like like to wait for a long time? Why?
Oh, let’s be real, nobody enjoys waiting for ages.
It’s usually a total drag, honestly. I mean, in today’s fast-paced world, we’re all about things happening pronto, so waiting just seems like a big time-waster.
I’d way rather be up to something useful or fun than just sitting around, not doing much of anything.
5. Why do most children have difficulties waiting for a long time?
You know, kids can really struggle with waiting for a bit. I guess it’s because they don’t really grasp the concept of time, and they get super bored.
Plus, they’re usually really curious and full of energy, so waiting just isn’t their thing. They’d much rather be up to something exciting than just sitting around, which makes them pretty impatient.
